The Yoga for Health and Education Trust is a not-for profit-making company set up by past members of the Yoga for Health Foundation.

I am Muthu. You would not have known me till date, but henceforth, I may become your household name for what I am and what I do.

Coming from a very mediocre family, struggles were the path to my success story. I was inducted to yoga at a very tender age and have been practicing it  and trying to reach the underprivileged by imparting the practices that I had learnt, to give them the mental strength to meet adversities, better. The need to give something back to the society that has made me what I am today, and having discovered likeminded people with a zest for helping the needy, has urged me into starting a trust to help the needy and the poor. And what better way to initiate it than through yoga, which disciplines oneself into being a successful person. Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnu Devananda’s teachings have inspired me to proceed on this path with courage.

This urge to be there for the needy has driven me to conduct:

• Free medical camps
• Free Naturopathy camps
• Free yoga classes to the underprivileged

On a personal level, with a few philanthropists, who were willing to go the extra mile to bring a smile on those who could not afford to be taken care of.

Future plans will become successful if you were amidst us to take this project forward. If you have the compassion and would like to help, please enlist our help in reaching out to those in need, as we are the extensions of those really in need and deprived. Having tread the path of poverty, we know what it is to actually get the haves to help out the have nots.

We need your support – financial and moral, for the other projects we are commencing:

• Schools – though there are many organizations running schools, there are more children who need basic education, which we intend to provide.
• Good healthcare by means of medical camps conducted by qualified and committed doctors, and yoga instructions.
• Rehabilitation works to be taken up for orphanages, Old age homes, and wherever required.
• Providing opportunities for employment through self help groups, empowering the underprivileged especially the women in rural sectors.
• Providing basic requirements of food, clothes, and shelter and sanitation facilities in the places where help has not reached so far.

I cannot do it alone. I need your help and patronage in seeing this through. I am committed to this cause and will ensure that we serve them who needs it most and bring some life and light in the darkness.

We can do it together. We will do it together. We could do it together. We would do it together.

Lets go forward, arm in arm, and reach out to someone out there, for whom we will make a difference.
